How To Setup a Dial-UP Connection on Windows XP
1. Left-Click the icon Start (usually located on the bottom left corner of your Desktop).

2. Click the Connect To .... link, then select Show All Connections.

3. On the left-hand side under Network Tasks click on Create a new connection.

4a. Select the first option Connect to the Internet from the menu that appears then click Next.

4b. Select the second option Set up my connection manually from the menu that appears then click Next.

4c. Select the first option Connect using a dial-up modem from the menu that appears then click Next.

5. Follow the wizard instructions supplying the phone number, username, password.

6. Be sure the checkboxes are checked for using this connection and to make it the default.

7. Check the box to add a shortcut to your Desktop, then click Finish.

7. Connect to GloryWorks by double-clicking on the desktop shortcut you just created. If it works, congratulations! You're done. If you have problems, try one or more of the following:

  • Be sure you have the correct GloryWorks access phone number, ie, --1110.
  • Be sure you typed in your username and password correctly (upper/lowercase is important).
  • Find and use another access number from the Find Dial-Up Phone Numbers page
