1). Insert the GloryWorks setup CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. The Setup screen should come up automatically after a few seconds.

A. If the screen does not come up automatically, click the Windows Start button on the lower, left of your computer screen and click Run.

B. In the Run box type D:\setup\setup.exe (If your CD-ROM is not drive D:, then replace the D with the appropriate drive letter.)

C. Click OK and the GloryWorks Setup should start.

3) Read the license agreement and click the appropriate button to continute with the setup.

II. Selecting Your Browser

4) Now, select a browser to install from the list.
Internet Explorer 5.0
or
Netscape Communicator 4.75.

After you select your desired browser, choose the destination of the files for the installation.By default, C:\Program Files\Gearbox Connection Kit is the destination.)

Click Next to continue.

5) Setup will add the GloryWorks Connection Kit to your Programs Folder. Click Next to continue.

6) Please review the settings that are shown on the screen and make sure they are to your liking. If NOT, click Back to modify the settings. Otherwise press Next to continue the setup process.

7) RESTART your computer for the program to take effect.

III. Entering Your Information and Preferences

8) After the computer restarts, you should see the following:
Welcome to GloryWorks. The setup wizard will guide you through the necessary steps to create a new account and access the Internet.

Click Next to continue.

9) Please read the Service Agreement. To Continue with setup you must accept this Agreement. Selecting NO will cause Setup to end. Click Next to continue.

10) Provide a name for this connection:
(e.g., My GloryWorks)

Click Next to continue.

11) Type in your Full Name and Organization in the spaces provided. Click Next to continue.

12) Select your modem from the list and click Next to continue.

13) Enter your area code and either select tone or pulse for your dialing method. (Tone is standard) Click Next to continue.

14) If you have call waiting, select the prefix to disable it while you are online. If you do not know what prefix to use to disable call waiting, contact your local telephone company for details. Click Next to continue.

15) If you need to access an outside line, type the digits needed to reach the outside line. (e.g.,1 or 9) Click Next to continue.

IV. Getting Your Online Settings and Connecting

16) Click Next to dial a toll-free number to complete your account setup. This will connect to GloryWorks so that your computer can get the most up-to-date setup information.

17) Please click Proceed.

Enter Your Account Information:

18) Please enter your First Name and LastName, Your City, Your GloryWorks Access Phone Number, Your GloryWorks Username (5-8 chars., lowercase), Your GloryWorks Password (5-8 chars., lowercase). These all should be written on the bottom of the Welcome Letter we mailed to you with the setup CD.

19) Click Submit.

20) Your online connection will now be closed, and you will see a screen showing your access number. Select your access number and click Next.

21) Now you should see the following:
Congratulations! You are now ready to access the Internet.

22) Click Finish to end the setup process.

V. Connecting

23) You may now connect to the Internet by double clicking on the GloryWorks Dialup (looks like the letters GW) icon on your desktop and it is also located in the taskbar.

24) The GloryWorks Connection Kit screen will open, click the Connect button in the top right hand corner of the screen to connect to the Internet.

Your modem should dial and connect to the Internet, and you should see two, small blinking computer monitor icons on the lower right hand corner of your screen next to the time.

Now, check your e-mail program and browser to see if they are functioning properly.
