Go to your Internet browser from the list below, and follow the easy instructions to setup the proxy/filter:
Netscape 4.xx
- Go to Edit / Preferences, and it should bring up the settings.
- Click on the + (on Macintosh, it is a little triangle) next to Advanced, and then click on Proxies.
- Put the dot on Manual proxy configuration, and click View...
- Only in the field for HTTP type in proxy.gloryworks.com : 8080.
- Click OK all the way out of the menus.
Internet Explorer 4.x
- Go to View / Internet Options, and it should bring up the settings.
- Click on the Connection tab, then put a check in Access the Internet using a proxy.
- Click on Advanced
- Click OK all the way out of the menus.
Internet Explorer 5.x through 6.x
- Go to Tools / Internet Options, and it should bring up the Internet Options window.
- Click on the Connections tab, and select your GloryWorks account from the Dial-up settings window.
Note: DSL users would go to the LAN Settings area instead, then similarly complete the following settings.
- Click on the Settings... button to the right of the window, and it should bring up the Account Settings window.
- In the Proxy Settings area select both boxes (Use a proxy server and Bypass proxy server for local addresses), then click Advanced....
- The window that you are in should now be titled "Proxy Settings". Only in the address field for HTTP type in proxy.gloryworks.com and in the Port field type in 8080.
- Do NOT check Use the same proxy server for all protocols. Then in the bottom window labeled Do not use proxy server for addresses beginning with: type in 192.168.0..
